Mission

Sweetspot’s mission is to help golf facilities worldwide to reach their full potential. By offering amongst other things a booking system, marketing tools and strategic partnerships we can offer a full service solution toward our partners. In addition to that we provide revenue management and business intelligence tools for facilities to constantly improve their setup.

Progress

Sweetspot was founded in 2017 and provides golf facilities with a state-of-the-art, data driven revenue management system. Sweetspot collects data and provides insights in addition to a number of tools to help companies optimize their business and achieve their set goals. Sweetspot has grown year-on-year, both regarding partners and employees. We’re currently 38 team members and we have plans to become many more.

The challenge:

We are looking for a passionate and driven UX Designer. You are one of three designers, of which you will be the manager. Together with cross functional teams you and your team are responsible for designing user-friendly and engaging digital products for our customers across markets. As the UX Design Lead, you will be responsible for driving the UX/UI agenda in the organization ensuring that our products are user-friendly and visually appealing. In addition, you will lead and be a part of the end-to-end product design process.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the performance and well being of the design team, by ensuring they have the best tools and workflows at their disposal as well as being their manager
• Be part of a cross functional team and take ideas from concept to realization
• Conduct user research and identify and analyze our users’ needs, goals and pain points in our B2B and consumer products
• Advocate for user-centered design solutions, define user-personas, and map user-journeys
• Create wireframes and prototypes to test and explore new design solutions in an effective way
• Refine the user interface together with the team and make sure we maintain a consistent design across our different products
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve a fantastic user experience in our platform

Who you are:

• 4+ years of experience in UX design within a tech company or startup
• 2+ years of experience in UI design within a tech company or startup
• Experience from having held a lead position with managerial responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of the latest design tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Exceptional design and layout skills and a great eye for composition, color and typography.
• Exceptional English skills in written and oral communication.

You should also be:

• Competitive, self-propelled and enjoy working toward your targets.
• Analytical and interested in understanding both details and possessing a holistic view.
• Communicative and excellent in explaining complex matters in simple terms.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a goal of digitizing an industry.
